Tony Whitlock, co-founder of Acorn Home & Garden, began his career in Cobb County in 1984, working in a local florist shop to pay his way through college.  Within four years he established a reputation as a creative floral designer and created a local Marietta clientele.  By 1988 Tony ventured out on his own and created Tony Whitlock Designs.  Since that time Tony's business has grown and his creative energy has allowed him to expand into other design areas.  Though Tony continues to design and create floral for weddings and events, he has established a reputation as a successful interior designer.  With only the word of mouth advertising from satisfied clients, Tony has successfully grown and expanded his business.  Tony Whitlock and his business partner, Loriann Thibodeaux, created Acorn Home & Garden, a retail establishment that opened Fall 2005.  This new venture will showcase Tony's, as well as additional designers, work and innovative floral creations and will also provide a forum for his clients to purchase home décor furnishings.
